La Yanqui Argentina explores my first-generation experience through sequencing, material, and contextual dualities, and the implementation of motifs. I consistently worked in doubles to convey that these dualities are not a burden – rather, parts of my identity. The Latin American population is diverse, with a range of traditions, experiences, and stories; I want my viewers to learn more about my Argentinian culture and recognize how these experiences, stories, and identities bring comfort and community, even when partially lost.
